Teaching

Thomas teaches singing, acting and music theory to all levels of ability. You can read Thomas' philosophy on teaching below:

"It is one thing to be able to perform a particular skill, but it is another to be able to teach it. The bad teachers that I'm sure we all remember are generally the ones who didn't seem invested in what they were teaching. If you have ever had the opportunity to be taught by a really fantastic teacher, I'm sure you would agree that they are far more memorable than the bad. Good teachers embody passion and love of what they teach, but more importantly they love teaching it. Very few things give me the same amount of joy as seeing someone's face light up when they discover something new that they couldn't do before. I strive to create an environment with students where they feel they can really explore their abilities, become immersed in what they are doing, learn from mistakes and most importantly develop a passion for their art. I've been privileged to be taught by some of Australia's best teachers in the arts. My teaching style and philosophy is a result of the experiences and rapport I have had with them and I can't wait to share it with you."

Thomas tailors his lessons towards each individual student and happily conducts private one-off lessons as well as ongoing lessons. Thomas also coaches students for HSC and VCE drama, theatre studies and music performance as well as audition preparation for drama schools/other performances. Group lessons are also available.
